This trail is great for birding, hiking, and snowshoeing, and it’s unlikely you’ll encounter many other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.
About Deer Hollow Sanctuary Trail
The wetland and pond habitats provide great bird watching. A short trail leads down to an observation tower on the edge of the pond which provides a great vantage point to view wildlife and survey Mud Ponds. Trails are not marked but easily followed.
