Community Garden (Route 202)
The Windham Community Garden’s Mission is to garden following organic practices, provide affordable garden beds for growing healthy food and flowers, support a community of gardeners and help promote a green and sustainable Windham. We strive to provide the services of a safe, beautiful and well-equipped garden facility for our renters; to grow, harvest and distribute high-quality organic produce for those in need; to serve as a community-building and educational resource for all residents.
About Community Garden (Route 202)
Established in 2010
The Garden was established through the determination of a core group of individuals who thought that a community garden in Windham was needed and would be well received. They were right! In the first full growing season of 2011 we had 39 gardeners sign up and 37 completed the full season with everyone experiencing a high degree of success.
